MM - Nice work and you have to be happy with them! Did you really get these near these near the houseboat? I've been fishing that area often and recent, and I've just about given it away because I can't keep the tackle up. I've had more bust-offs in that area than aywhere else in the whole world and I'm pretty sure its the abrasion from the rocks onto my leader.

Great Fish and I'm envious! Bastard!

Lol, thanks for the fishing trip rob.. its my first time down at Peel... i can see why so many bream flickers haunt the area

Jay... i went to the dog clippers for the day... kept saying i was a cute wookie and they had a special treat for me if i behaved... ended up being a sundried pigs ear... not happy Jan... damn dog lovers.. they are wookie racists!

I am thinking there must be a Peel Island somewhere off the great barrier reef, maybe off Mackay?? This catch is unbeleivable, well done. If I showed up with these photo's, I am sure I would get some comments like " Yeah, I can see the ice still tucked up under the gills" Or "show me the receipt"

Unreal!

The size of the mountain behind them in the second pic is not from around here.

I'd say somewhere up on the reefs as well

Probably referring to the mountainous waves in pic 2 ..... definately a NQ 2 foot chop ;D ;D much different to a SE QLD chop ::)

Well done on the catch. A top trip no matter where it is :)

Rob,

Looks like the trip worked out well. I think there's a lot more exploring to be done around that region (Peel Island).

You really need to get another hobby though. Your getting too good at Shit Stirring ;D
