jigged up an aj and slugged up a mack
got the kingy on the troll
no current out there
weather man needs his head read
mackerel are starting to move through the bay

Thanks for the heads up on the macks. Am planning on giving them a go this year. Just need my MM slugs. I better start getting organised then.

Weather man has got to be a work experience clown over the past couple of weeks....looked alright off Noosa where Bugman was though.
Nice kingy if the mack was 72cm! Good stuff.

not wrong about the weather - we got to flinders this morning just after sunrise with little breeze but big green lumps - within an hour or so it was howling - check http://www.bom.gov.au/products/IDQ65119/IDQ65119.94594.shtml - 6/8 knots @ 6am :) then 20/25 knots by 7.30am :-[ another reminder how fast things can change :-/
anyway we managed a few small yellowfin mostly on small halco hardbodies before calling it quits then wasting the next couple of hours at Comby-Tangas - ripping 1.8m tide range at full speed
we lost no gear - hexs, pushers, hards or softies & all on mono leaders
am curious if you were also using mono leaders & what capacity ?????? :)
