hi was fishing around st helana mud saturday morning just wanted too noo wat they are? my son and i caudgt to at the same time wen we got them into the boat all hell let loose THEY STUNK :o to hi heavan,the smell almost made as sick litrualy, they grunted and made all sorts of wierd noises? kinda spooked us a bitt anyway info on these would be good AND YEP IM NEW TO BRISSI TIGHT LINES DONT FORGET THE PEG $ THE NOSE ;D

there have been some huge barstards
caught there and they go like shit

Mate they are the famous Brissy River CATFISH........MMMMMMMM YEP THEY SURE SMELL BAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

YES VERTIGO THATS THE ONE IN YOUR PIC GEE they go hard i thought it was a jew or somethin my son hooked up exactly the same time he was haveing trouble gettin it in they WERE HUGE just wished they didnt STINK SO MUCH ;)

Do I see a plastic comming out of the catty's mouth Vertico (considering that is what you usually use)? If so, you are a legend, never heard of that before. That is a serious catty for open water in the bay shurely.

chrisso, was taken on 3" dropshots in watermelon on 4kg spin gear behind green island.
Was trying to burley up some grassy sweetlip and squire but caught around 5 of these buggers instead. That photo is from a few months ago.

use em for crab bait mate. we get massive ones in the pine too. bloody pests! if you think they go hard, wait til you meet mr jack! no comparison. good luck.
