Trolled Trench-Hutchies-Cape first light to late morning with assortment of skirts, hardbodies & baits for 0-0-0, no bait schools, no birds, no fish - great conditions, water temp 23-25 & medium tide run - picked some consolation squire at Brennans - medium number of other boats eg around 10 visible at any given time with no more than 5 in a particular locality - didnt see anyone else boat a fish - chats on water & back at ramp suggested most didnt turn a reel -
DID ANYONE CATCH ANYTHING THIS AREA TODAY??
any ideas why so fishless ??

We've all had days like that, all the boat going flat out zig zaging all over the place would spook and spread the fish out. We think the BOM has alot to do with it, with it being abit low this weekend could have resulted in less activity. Only our thought though.

One thing you can be sure of there will be a gauntlet waiting for them again next wkend ;D this season has been slow the boats outnumbering the fish on most occasions, has to happen sooner or later.
