My son Chad caught his first keeper flathead today in the Pine River. He's been trying for so long and getting lots of just undersized and everytime we go out he says to me "Dad I really wan't to catch a big flatty today ." So when we measured it and it went about 42 cms. he was rapt.
We also got 2 bream and a whiting.
Cheers
Brad.

Well done Chad [smiley=thumbsup.gif] The wet and the trawlers which have bin workin' make that a good fish for a little feller. Good on yer.

Great effort mate.
They seem to all be undersize in the pine! I usually anchor up upstream just past deep water bend where a little estuary emptys out. Fish with whitebait here and usually pick up half a dozen flatties all undersize :(
