Headed out early tues morning on board Sempre with sam and regan.We finally got a good forecast so headed back to our place at the muds which is out from mooloolaba.
Arrived at 4.00am to find snapper and pearlies on the chew
we baged out on both species by 6.30am,we caught a few mixed reef fish but
the snapper kept on coming,we had to move.We drifted The Deep and picked up a couple of dolphin fish which was a welcome addition.
It was last drinks by 8.00am when regan put the last livie down,he was smashed by a big fish it took almost half an hour on 30plb
line to bring in,the fish was a 45kg amberjack.What a fight and what a fish.
So the meaning behind the title is that there will be plenty of A.J for the inlaws for christmas.

Damn Browndog ...thats a hefty AJ , and on 30lb ...geez , not something that can be knocked over easy, actually i think the AJ would have had the benefit of the doubt in the odds stakes ..TOP notch Work ! ;)

And the dolly in the ice box looks of a good size ...yet another bull ....damn fine ! good haul mate

Great catch there. It was great weather out there today. How far is the muds from mooloolaba?

Thats an impressive AJ Browndog, I hav'nt been fortunate enough to land one of this magnatude but have heard all the stories & that one is up with the the best. Did the inlaws like it, ha ha ha.....

Brownie that was 30kg line not 30lb , Reagan's not that good . Only the skipper can pull em that size on the hand line.

Sam you gut never give up on them do you. One day they will learn there p's & q's and right from left and then they won't need you, i know what you are thinking :-? Nahhhhhhhhhh that will never happen.

Top catch guys, regan just think after tat Aj your arms may be longer, and that is good......... makes it easier to bend over and get a beer out of the esky. ;D
