hey guys did a real quick trip down the seaway this morning managed a solid flattie on a tsunami 6" shad placcie while chasing jewies. it went 90 cm my second biggest flattie and biggest for the seaway area so far not a bad birthday pressie either ;)
btw sorry for the dud pic i was in the boat by myself

This time of year the seaway will have a lot of big flathead in there. Nice work mate!

A shame in a way mate that it was so big otherwise yuo could of stuck some canddles in it and had it as a birthday cake.........
I sure have had worse cakes over the years.....

Good work Matt!
Self portrates are always a challenge with big fish, the timer never seems to give you long enough to get inplace.
Sounds like a memorable Birthday present though.

got that fish on the last of the run in franco havent landed a jew there yet but maybe have on the other side ;) had alot of rattes tho that might have been jewies

dropped a big jewie on the other side the week before on the same plastic really hammered the lure it actually left indents in the rubber not cuts really spun me out

I agree with you Matt! That is most definetly a 90cm model & I sure hope sf17fisherman got a tide chart/legal fish size chart for Xmas, because he'll have his nuts in a vice if he's caught with one taking it home to eat.
