Well, took a bloke from Rocky up the Narrows fishing yesterday. You hear of so many people catching fish up there, but alas, the good ole 'FV' Corrysplace spent the day 'boating' instead.
Got a small spotty stingray, and a couple of undersize cod, but other than that, drowned a couple of ales.
Gee, I wonder how many local Gladdy guys are gunna read this thinking that I caught some fish. He He.
Happy New Year all.

Cheers
Corry

Hey Corry, sounds like the fishing was slow up the Narrows, I hav'nt fished there yet, was always a bit cautious of the low tides up there.
Do you fish other areas around the port or the caliope?
cheers

Yeah Blade, tried the gravel bar just inside Graham's, then the rock shelf coming off the bottom of Worthington Is. then over to the mouth of Targinnie, then in behind Worthington, then moved up to Black Swan. Tide was too low to get up to Ramsey's, or I would have given that a shot too.
We stopped into Tide Is. and hit the Jew hole on the way back, still nothing. Couple of undersized cod and a small stingray.
Hit the big blue on Monday in the big boat, similar results there too. A couple of good hits and the usual bloody parrot.
Good run out though, would be good to organise a CQ fishing trip again. Haven't heard from Jeff for a while.
Wouldn't mind doing a run up to Cape Capricorn if a few are interested to get their hulls wet. Not sure when, wind is howling at the moment, and I gotta go and pick the kids up next weekend. Open for suggestions.
