Having my niece and nephew for a few days decided to take them over to Moreton Island near sandhills when fishing at the blue hole
I thought be a good way to start them into bread and butter fishing to the kids and a great calm place to go when weather is good
They had a fun day catching different little fish and caught good feed of whiting and crabs for tea [smiley=chef.gif]
The trip back was rough from Harrys to Cleveland when wind came up

To your [smiley=huh.gif]
The blue hole is off Moreton Island just down from the big and little sandhills a but above Crab island its an area water that is deep to about 7m and the rest the of surrounding area to about 2m which the deep part looks like blue (hence The Blue Hole) and rest shallow area in green have to go thorugh set of channel markers to get there

blue hole? :-?

Down at the Southern end of Moreton Island. Get a chart of the mid bay area and it's pretty easy to see.

Glad to hear someone had a good turn there. Last I heard, the pros had been through and cleaned it out :'( Obviously it's recovered OK. :)

Good feed there Mitch !!

Hope I didn't put my foot in it too much when I was talking to you at the servo that morning. I saw your boat go past when we were walking and said to my daughter that you got on the chat boards from time to time. When I saw you pull in for fuel, I thought I'd mosey up and say g'day.

Thanks for the PM.

Regards,

John Miller
