richmond river flood time fun

had a good day today the fresh is still going strong on the richmond on the incoming tide i bounced a shaky gulp shad arond the missingham bridge and scored a mixed bag 6 flathead upto 1.5kg and one motherous cat fish thought i had a nice school jew till i netted it all released today this was in the 1st hour of the incoming tide

Mate - good to see reports from the Richmond - keep them coming. I'm in Sydney just now so will probably miss the fresh. Also still waiting .for my river boat. Roll on Feb 16

yeah a few schoolies i went today and caught 4 very decent flathead 2.55kg biggest to1.25kg smallest is it ok to eat fish on the fresh because i put them all back my wife complained that she wouldn,t eat them haha
hey jn i,ve caught one schoolie and am awating delivery of my soft plastic jew rod its due in 10 days but the one i did catch was on a light penn whiting rod 6pd fireline 2000 av okma spin it was a handful to say the lease the next 2 weeks should be great fishing in the richmond i hope to post more for all of ya cheers ty
