Fished the Tweed today,
got around 30 Bream on the world famous Gulps.
The only thing is that only two were legal size, 1 at 25 cm and 1 at 37cm and 1.08 kg
Yahoo finally got the kilo Bream!!!!.
Just wished I could have got it sunday during the Bream comp.

good catch mate. musta' been a solid 37cm bream to tip the 1kilo mark. Gonna have to give those plastics a shot!

There's a summer series Bream comp run by the ABT people round 2 is on the Tweed on sunday.
I was out having a pre fish for it

Yup, there are a lot of smallies around pretty hard to get keepers at the moment. Good luck in the comp have a few mates fishing.
Will be too busy working :'(

What was the exact GPS mark for that fish...... ha ha ha ;D
Mate thats a stonker bream, I think this is a good sign for the number of fish to be caught during the comp.
I hope you catch almost as much as me Sunday! ;)

Excuse my ignorance, but do you mean the carpark at the actual Twin Towns Club on Jack Evans boat harbour or the little club house down at the trawler wharf opposie Von Bibra?

Hey Peter, the weigh in will be in the harbour where the rescue boat is moored. Just look for about 30-50 nice boats & some happy & some sad fisherman, I hope to be smiling :)
