Whiting Saturday 11th

Took a mate out on the bay from Scarborough to about 2 Km off the bottom of Bribie. Got there about 10.00 am.
Drifted on top of the banks and picked up a little over 30 winter whiting. Threw back about 10 under size summers and 2 flatties.
All in it was a great day and pulled the pin at about 2.00 pm.
Caught most on frozen prawns but some on squid strips too.

Nice to hear that the winter whiting are about .Were they decent size ? Last year i had trouble getting any size out of them
