Just getting enough for bait at the mo.
Not lookin for a feed yet.
A tropical rain depression would help.
Hopefully one will come down on us soon.
Has anyone heard any long range weather forecasts.?
Bring on the nannas.

I've always found that they pick up more towards Easter. So IMO there is still plenty of time left to get a feed... patience grasshopper

Cheers Kev

I was around Jacobs Well yesterday and there were at least a dozen boats throwing cast nets. All seemed to have one thing in common.. sore shoulders and empty buckets ;D

Agree with Kev, but a slight modification to what you have said, if you live in Northern parts of Brisbane, they may start to show soon, although still a little early. It would have been good to get a good rain a couple of weeks ago, then I would believe reports of Bananas about now, in Glasshouse creek and in other little creeks up that way. As for the Logan river/ Jacobs well which is my territory, I don't get too excited until we get that first winter chill in the air as the sun comes up - the sort of morning as you are waking up, you feel its too cold to get out of bed. That's about the time prawns should be about, depending mostly on rain. Too much, and I think they scatter once they have started to school, too little, and they don't come on properly...It's uncommon to get the right balance every year....Here's hoping!
