Amongst the birds

Sunday morning, set out from Bribie into the northern bay to have a look. Closer to moreton there were thousands of birds diving everywhere and all around us were some big longtails leaping out of the water. Out came the slugs but with no hook ups. Tried several sizes, the baitfish were all around us so we were able to match the size ok. Finally my mate gets a blistering run only to result in a bight off. The only spoils for the day was a schoolie that I got on a floated pilly. It was just good to be out there on such a magic day.

frustrating when they aren't interested in your offering, but how much would you pay to be out there on a great weekend like we just had
