SNAFU

hi all,
had a week of and tried my luck at harries a couple of times.only some small snapper and a couple of fair tuskies for my efforts. all on prawns and on drift. nothing on anchor either in shallow 5-8m or deep 20m.still a bit early yet for good snapper i think.
went out with mate in 2 boats yesterday, he got some nice taylor 40cm+ and biggest catfisf i've seen at saint in his usual spot. then of to harries but no luck so back to saint again. 1 good squire then saw sky go dark and pulled pin. got half way back to manly when it hit :o :o :o. i now know what a white out is like. we knew we were close but where was the question, had to ride it out till it passed and we found we were at darling point ::) :P :-X.
it was not a bad storm but enough for us, would hate to cop a bad one. dont know how other small boats fared at harries and back of green.
have noticed the water has cleared up nicely in last couple of weeks and temp has gone down to24c from 29c and there dont seem to be many sharks around at all :D. mabey i will get my first big nobby with body still attached soon.
there is some surface action starting to happen now but cant find any spotties in them.might have missed them this year.(any one know if i'm wrong) :)
there is the odd schoolie starting to show up but small and scarse.
i wonder how easter will be on water this year ;D :o ;D.
snafu.
