hi all took the old fella out on monday morning at scarborough reef using squid no keepers but my new little bait caster was kept busy caught and released 3ft wobby ,sting ray ,sweetlip,tailor and a small cod and had a big bust off did not set the drag right for that as first time i had used the rod and reel have now made the adjustments all in all nice morning on the water

Was it fresh squid, cos there is always squid around Redcliffe jetty....mmmm they are to atsy for bait though, but give the heads a go!

frozen squid but thawed out look pretty fresh compared to some i have seen

hi brad not a dear outfit until i get used to it abu garcia 6ft rod and baitcater is1003lp model something i can practice on until i master it or chuck it overboard brad did you get the pm about the houseboats in may not sure if i sent it right
