this arvo at the graves

took the missus out for a quick fish this arvo , just went around to the graves for the start of the run in , lost some good fish but still managed a feed.

p.s can some one tell me what fish the one with yellow tail is and is it edible , its size was 42 cm

Thought I was reasonably good on fish ID's but I have never even seen a fish like that before :-? Where abouts are the graves?

just a spot off big woody hervey bay,i even thought i was good at naming species but this one had me stumped .

Fullscale I can't be sure but I'd call that fish as being a member of the fusilier family. If I'm right, it would be quite good eating.

Quite nice mixes and I reckon the mystery fish is "banana" that I ate it long time ago yummy quite nice you won't be dead ;D
