After fishing the mooloolaba canals for most of the weekend and having very little success fincho and I headed to Noosa with the old boy early Sunday morning for a few hours on the water. Caught some little bream and fingermark around the bridges and a smallish flatty down Weyba. Last year around this time I landed my first Diamond Trevally at Noosa and in more or less the exact same spot this year came this little guy on a 2" Gulp. Awesome fight for the size of fish they are.

We've always just called them fingermark on account of the spot but after looking through some books it seems like it probably was the moses perch indeed. We've caught loads of them at Noosa under the years so its probably an idea to know what they are ;)
