last night shinanigans.

went n floated some live tailor out in the gutter near the pumping jetty at tweed last night, had upwards of 20 monster runs, and i mean on 10kg line, runs of 200+m for no hookups. raced home, grabbed the nasty gear (24kg) no put some hurt on them. finally on a twin 10/0 hook rig we hurt one enough to get it close and it was bloody dolphins. ended up using 15 whole legal tailor on them as bait just to get a look at what they are, hoping for something deacent. cheers big al

Urggggh wouldn't you be devo'd especially after going home to get the good gear! Ahhh well that's fishing for you. Heard of a few blokes using smallish tailor off the end of jewies in the past.
