First Longtail

Friday on the Bay. Caught a few livies at the beacons and decided to anchor at Curtain , the bay was glassy calm, had two good hits and lost one fish and landed this 18kg Longtail in the next 2 hours , bit of fun. First post with photo hope it turns out.

Saw a school of Longies smacking bait round the bribe bridge today!

Yeah great fighters, hadn't eaten them before but have just had some marinated in a mixture of soy ,sugar, corieander, garlic and ginger then seared on a hot plate and it was pretty good !
