Hooked up with a mate who knew of a canal he wanted to give a go up Bribie. Managed to make it up there around lunch and after a little deliberation about the wind dot rigged up.
Got my mate into the plastics as he threaded up a 3" atomic jerk shad in pumpkin seed. Within no time he'd landed his first lizard at 40cm.
After about 45mins of extensive casting and change ups of SP's I was rewarded witha lizard of my own measuring 45cm.
All in all a fair day considering the wind.

Cheers chief. You're right. Fish certainly looked healthy. Nailed my plastic very close to shore on the drop off. Probably 3m tops. Jig, Jig, retrieve, pause....................WHAM!!! It took off too. Knew it was a lizard with the headshakes. This spot is a great option in the wind. ;)

Great fish mate. Those small flatties are always fun on light gear and sp's
