Went out early for a few hours, fished the sunrise with SP's. The undersize squire were there but the action was not all that hot. Got one keeper which was a new PB 53cm squire. Sorry guys no pic. As I only got home today, as soon as I finish my session at Green I Made my way down to Redland Bay boat ramp to be on the water again, headed across to my mates house witch is on Maclay Island to stay the weekend. We tried to do some fishing but the beers got the better of us. We Got one session in if you could call it that. Sunday we got on the water at about 10:00am with very ordinary heads we did not stat out all that long, decided to head in for a hangover cure, bacon & eggs and a hair of the dog.
As for Green Saturday the conditions were great, no wind at all seas were flat, water was clear, tide was high about 10:30am. the small squire was coming from the top of the reef early just as the sun made a show. As there was no keepers coming from the shallows I decided to go deeper, the driff was allowing me to driff the top of the drop off, this is were I got the keeper
All in all I had fun landing that 53cm squire maybe if the high tide was earlier the fishing would have been a bit better, the fish went off the bite early with not much water over the top of the reef and the clearness of the water as soon as the sun came up I say the fish went deep.
Biff ;)
