Headed out yesterday morning at 3 with Kris (Fritzy), Fincho and Kev (Dropshot) to have a crack with softies at the mouth of the Brissy River. Things started off a bit slow, but after not too long I was busted off on a 4" dropshot. The action then started to hot up with a fair few hits before i finally came up solid on a 3" droppy. Somehow managed to keep it out of the pylons and eventually landed my first SP caught squire at 30cm. Wasnt big but HOLY CR*P do they go hard. After a couple more hits i was onto my second fish on a 4" and he came in at jsut over 35cm and went straight into the esky. The action really hotted up then with a heap of hits and bust offs, and then i nailed another 35 cm squire. I was loving it... the others were getting p*ssed off! Fincho then came up solid and nailed a squire at 35 cm aswell, 3 fish in the esky things were going well. The sun started to get high and the current picked up with the incoming tide and things slowed down with the wind making things tough aswell. Kev then nailed a nice breambo, and Kris nailed a 5cm moses perch on a 4" droppy. Good stuff!!! Haha we then headed further out towards the mouth and i nailed a 60 cm flatty. After a few more hits but me needing to get to work we headed in. WAs a good sesh, especially considering it was fincho and Kev's 2nd and me and kris's first crack at the area. Man am i addicted to squire now!!!! Dunno if Kris got any pics at home as he dropped me off at work, but I'll post them as soon as i find out if he did.
Cheers
