Hi everyone , this is my first post so I hope it works allright.
Put the little tinnie at dohles rocks at about 9 for the run up tide, I started with some chicken breast chasing bream and landed one 30cm and one just under size, both sent back as I prefer catching them than cleaning them. After the tide turned I decided to try a small river to sea plastic I bought for $2 at bears boat hire, after about ten casts I was absolutley smashed in the mangroves and then dropped.I wound in my line to find a demolished sp. Then drifted out over the flats between dohles rocks and deep water bend using a 3" shad (from my brothers takle box not sure exactly what kind)& landed my first fish on an sp an undersize flathead that will go down as the most exiting fish ive ever caught.

Does anbody know if you can use an sp at night ?

thanks Pritch

Yeah, it's good when a new method pays off. Welcome to the site Pritch.

My kids always perceived the bathroom as a place where you wait it out until all the groceries are unloaded from the car.
