Hi All,

snuck out for an arfternoon session down the coast leaving the ramp around 2:30, the session started off a bit slow and it took a while to get the first fish to the boat which was a bream of around 25cm. Not long after I came across a large school of bait fish and had trevally following the lure to the boat but only having half hearted swipes at it tried a few different lures to no avail so left them alone to return when the sun dropped a bit more. Kept moving and as the sun dropped the fishing really fired up in the next hour a total of 6 differnt species were landed, started with a nice estuary cod (PB on lure at 40cm ;D), squire first legal broadwater one at 38cm, gt, then tea leaf trevor, diamond trevor and finished off with a good late season jack of 41cm :) also had two unstoppables that bricked me, but you get that on 4lb ;D. All fish were released to fight another day and back at the ramp just before six after one very memorable session.

Cheers
Matty

Great fish! What plastics were you using?
Were the trevally all taken in the same area or in different area's?

Marty, yeah just awful with the lack of wind the sandflies were a real problem ;D ;D ;D.

lure was pumpkin seed gulps & they were all caught within 10m of one another.

Onya matty.
Im only getting little fish in the morning sessions, and bigger ones at sunset/evening. Got a few moses perch and bream on the broawater this morning, but no size to em. The jigs work fine, thx mate. Might be time to move to night fishing for winter bream.

Nice to see a jack this late, :o thats tops!! I also heard word of mouth reports of jacks at night last week, assuming your in the same area as usual.

cheers

Went snorkling on the south wall on Sunday and saw plenty of snodger Bream Trevally, the odd Cod and certainly some decent Squire. SO yes they are certainly there. No Jacks there though.

Matty whats your rig? Might see you out there on Friday.

Cheers
