:)My uncle Scott and his mate :)Bermo fished spot X of Moloolaba for a hot 2 and a half hour session. 9 sweeties 32cm to 45cm, 3 squire 39cm to 46cm and a ;DSpanish mack 1.2 metres (11kg) using 4kg fireline and berkely soft plastics. Spanyard took 20 minutes to land, last 5 minutes it >:(broke my uncles Shimano Excel Weapon Rod 2-4kg line class.
Special thanx to the father and son team who leant them a gaff.

Cheers Mad Keen Fisherkid

unbelieveable effort to get that spaniard on plastic . Did you sight cast or did he take it on the drop and you didn't know what had hit?

Gotta love the light stuff, caught macks last year off sunshine reef on 6lb and that was fun, mmmmm mackrel though would have been wicked, lucky he didn't cut you off. I lost one off Wynnum Breakwall 4 weeks ago on 8lb leader, just a little spottie though, still was great fun to see line peel off the stradic!
