I am Heading up to the Noosa river camping on the weekend.
Anyone got a feel for what's biting in the river at the moment?

Yeah mate,
Good bream in the Tewantin stretch of the river to 45cm. Jack between the lakes. Jew from Munna Point to inside the mouth. Good flathead on the run out inside the mouth. Whiting throughout. Trevally and tailor on livies and poppers in lower reaches.
Hope that helps.

Mate I live here and get daily reports from tackle shops and see what's being caught and talk to my neighbours who fish the river. I never ever believe what I read in the papers and have never looked on the net for a report. That's the feedback this morning and that's what's happening. Yesterday wasn't as good but look out the window tonight and see what the moons doin. Ausfishers get the best and latest reports from this area when the topic comes up as the reports I do for fishing mags take 5 weeks from writing to the newsagents.
Hope that helps
Lindsay
