Broadwater bream 17/5

Had a fish this morning to have a practice for the upcoming ABT comp.

Got a bloody big Trevor on a gulp wormy thing, great fun on 4lb.

But NO Bream. :'(

So if I were all you bream boys getting ready for the comp , pack your gear away, no Bream, better not waste your time on those unpredictable things, go chase some Flatties.

And leave the Bream for me!! ;D

Hey Mick,

That's not good, although the trevors are good fun. Don't worry it'll all come together on the day with the bream. Are you fishing the practise day on the Friday? I'me not, can't take the time of work :(. What are you going to do for the two weeks of the pre-fish ban, mate we'll have to go down to the Tweed for a run if we can't fish the Broadwater.

Don't you worry JT , I might have got some Bream yesterday ,but I'm not saying #;)

Trevors are great fun on the light bream gear, even though not chasing them on purpose, I never say no.

I'm having My last Goldy fish tomorrow to see if I can work out some sort of game plan.

The thing is ,Iwant to fish 3 spots, don't know where to go first !

Next week , bring on the mighty Tweed and all the undersize Bream she can throw at me.

Ahhh, playing it cagey, I understand, you got a 3.5kg bag yesterday and don't want to brag ;D ;D

I have 4 spots I want to fish time permitting, hopefully there will some fish at some of them and not too many people fishing them.

I'll contact you during the week, maybe hook up down on the Tweed, home of the heart breaking 24cm bream :'(
