Went to Pine River to see if prawns are still around .Things were pretty slow and it looked like they have moved on .After 2 hours and several different shifts i managed a small feed .Some of the prawns were the largest i have caught.I do not think they will be around much longer and will go as soon as water gets colder .Any comments ?

Well done Freddies at lest u tried and it paid off I havent tried myself for a few weeks due to being told that they had moved on and I was down there as well this arvo after a m8 gave me a ring to ask 4 help as his motor had just died so I grabed a rod and 1 crab pot ,towed him back ,set the pot and throw out the rod ,called it quits after a couple of hours as to get home b4 dark and eat the crab I scored,After seeing your pic I think I'll head down again in the morning and have a throw myself.cheers Snas

Thats the general rule freddies when the water gets cold the prawns bugger off ,that also means squid season is about to start so not all is lost ;D
