Sat Morning fish

Sorry post is a bit late. #Went out Sat morning for a quick flick around Raby Bay canals. #I quickly caught my 5 bag with a couple good size bream going 31 to the fork all on 3" minnow grubs (pumpkinseed). #I took my fiancee Jade with me for company, the story goes after doing some Suduko she is ready to have a flick. #I rigged up a 4" turtleback worm in red/black. #Next minute the reel is screaming. #I calmed her down and we finally boated a great diamond trevally. #Measured it 60cm to the fork. #WOW.

Rerigged and 5 mins last same thing this time its a snapper 37 to fork. #Checked out a few more spots and by 8am it was time to head home for bacon and eggs. #A good 2 hours of productive fishing. #Gotta love the plastics.

JT, you missed out mate. #Oh well maybe next time. #haha.

Ahh bugger, oh well next time. Well done to Jade though on a great catch, especially out of the canals. You'll have to bring her down to the Tweed as your deckie on the 25th June for the next bream social, or would you be too scared that she'll out fish you ;D ;D
