Weather looked like it would be ok this morning after the storm, so took a gamble and headed out early for an SP session. Really choppy south westerlys blowing which made things uncomfortable.
Bite was pretty good early and the old man and I hooked about 10 squire each, ranging 30-35cm, good to see that the future stock is still healthy. Managed a couple of keeper squire 37-39cm early on and later hooked a 49cm specimen (1.8kg - which was very fat for this length) which ran like hell before giving up. This time I landed it and its the first good fish I landed after a row of unlucky trips. Also got a tailor going 35cm - my second on an SP.
The wind died down later on and so did the fishing, headed home with a feed in the esky. Hopefully will line up another trip this week if the weather is good.
