Nicely done! Can't get enough of the pics of snapper. Especially when it's nice and close to the land like that is.

Swano, Top table fish. I thought it was blowing a little hard today. How did you find it?
When using SP's do you generally drift over a spot or anchor up? sorry for all the questions. Do you berley them up as well?

i've got a 55 leccy on the boat and a gps so i motor in about 100meters from my mark with the main motor , cut it , put down the electric motor and slowly work my way into and around the mark this way not spooking the fish near the reef or rubble patch . this is most inportant when fishing in the shallows (30 feet or less) as you see so many people roar in on the plane , drag the anchor chain all over the gunwale, bang around with gaffs , nets rods and the like only to put every fish within a kilometer off the bite . for those without a leccy , try drifting untill you find some structure or rubble on ya sounder and carefully lower ya anchor over and be as quiet as you can , fish the surrounding area for half an hour ( berley if ya want to ) and if it doesn't produce move on to another spot being mindfull of others in the process . have heard of blokes that get to close wearing a snapper lead on the windscreen so watch out how close you fish to others .

Hi SWANO1
Were you the 2 guys in the Quintrex Hornet who launched just ahead of me at the Clontarf ramp? I saw you head off around Woody Point but lost you soon after that. The reds were really going early, I'm sure partly because there was so little traffic. What a great morning!
