Fished Raby bay yesterday afternoon was a bit quiet 5 fish for 2 1/2 hous work. Played around with the camera takin a few pics of the fish in the water. This was a bit hard trying to hold the rod and keep the fish in shot but managed a few. Gulp minnows and frys in pumpkin seed and watermelon did the damage. All fish were legal but biggest was only 28cm to the fork.

So, Whytie, did you cop plenty of pike as well? I haven't caught one for years, but I caught 4 or 5 yesterday morning in the Raby Bay / Ormiston area at Seceret Spot Alpha. Got one pearler of a bream too, but not much else.
While I was waiting for my guests to arrive at the start of the day, I tossed in a green Gulp while preparing the boat and it took off quick smart and lively. A couple of minutes later, I landed a very credible 42cm squire which turned out to be the day's prize.

Hey Niel. Ive caught plenty of species in Raby Bay that includes a fair few pike. Some days are worse than others but havent caught 1 in there for a couple of weeks. You've probably jinxed me now and thats all ill catch the next trip ;D
