fished the usual spots at wello wednesday morning with very few hits. only got 3 legal squire between 38 and 45cm. it was a low tide about 6am and i am starting to think that the fish bite there better on a run out tide. anyone else find that this is the case?

Hey mate,
Have found in my dealings with Wello that a hightide mid morning, around 10am, is the best to fish there. Getting away from boat traffic is also a key to success ;)

So now the ausfish gang heads for Coochie :-X :-X :-X..lol or is this to put us off the scent Steve ;D
I'm sure if everyone does the right thing and takes enough fish for a feed and releases the rest there will be plenty to go around.

lanks I have to agree with Beefa with the incoming tide peeking around mid morning.
I think you will find the change in tide just on daybreak from low to incoming fires them up.
Cheers Brent ;)
