Went for a 3 day trip with the kids midweek .We find plenty of dart in fact one for just about every cast on worms.Tailor were nowhere to be seen.Rainbow beach fished a little better with flatties everywhere.All in all a nice quiet trip with the piglets a 4 and a 7 year old.Cant complain :)

Great country. The fish are a bonus. What did you get the lizards on?

Half a pillie on two 2/0 hooks ganged up and slowly retrieved along the bottom with a tini ball sinker just to keep it down .There are plenty nice gutters at rainbow right from the top down that has flathead written all over it

Looks like a great spot George, bet the piglets had a ball, did they manage to hook some fish too?

Great to see some Whales, I'll be seeing a fair few in S.Afr next month, no Great Whites I hope.

yes Barnesy the kids caught plenty of dart ,you couldnt wipe the grin of their faces for a while .Just gotta work on my daughter baithandling ,she think its yukk :)
