As the other boys mentioned there are some nice fish around at the moment....I threw poppers this afternoon for a nice GT about 1kg and got another Queenie on the plastic..... :D......On 6lb the queenies go hard and are great fun.
I also lost a good tailor...one jump and it threw the plastic..... ::).....Queenie pic attached. 8-)

I've fished there a few times with little or no luck at all.

Well done on the GT, Queenie and tailor. We were hoping for some more tailor and heard they were thick last weekend. One week too late. That's fishin.

I'm hooked on the surface action after this weekend.

Floyd............Mate a great popper in the river are the Owner Gobos....They are Japanese made with needle sharp hooks....

Noosa can be a funny place.....It seems to fish really well or really dead.. :-?
Last year in July was great for trevally and tailor and this year is not far behind...... 8-)
