well it has been a very long time for fishing trips for my poor boat, but finally, the and my schedule and the weather came together perfectly, however, my 2 favorite fishing partners were busy. Didn't stop me, as i could hear the fish calling me out there.

Headed out from wynnum early and arrived on the water and began fishing secret spot Q before sun up. the first line in the water took off almost straight after i had sat it in the rod holder. A very healthy squire to around 45ish was netted.
Working 2 rods with baits and trying to find time to flick plakkies kept me busy along with a steady stream of fish coming aboard ranging from 30-45. All fish were caught on fresh un-weighted baits. only kept 2 fish for a feed (to earn me brownie points from the the other half).

Dolphins and birds were a real nuisance thismorning, couldn't get away from them. The fish shut down around 7.30 this morning, and the sounder became deserted. All in all, very enjoyable morning, and i have a feeling that i will be out again soon ::)
