Arrived at our chosen 'spot' in the 'Pin' at 4pm on low tide. In the following six hours Darren and I caught upwards of 50 Yellowfin Bream - the largest being 8 snodgers ranging from 30cm-37cm in a 'bite' that could only be described as "intense". Had we chosen to keep to the legal size limits - we could have taken home 40 but only kept what we could eat fresh. Would of been even more interesting if we had continued through the ebb!

any bream over 30cm is an absolute snodger! worth cookin up in my books. To catch 8 of these in one session is uncanny :o, and good to see the smaller fish getting released as well ;)

Gee you pose a hard decision, big bream at the jumpinpin, or bay squire...
Ya just have to love fishing in the winter months (other then the cold)
