Dave's Rock Snodgers

Went for a quick fish today at a legendary bream haunt called Dave's Rock on the sunny coast. Be it by design or chance, the snodgers arrived on queue today! landed 11 bream in 1 hour and 15 minutes - the snodgers measured 35 and 35.5cm. got busted-off twice by their big brothers! :) These fish both ran hard and deep...thump...stretch...rod swung down...coming...coming up...slowly...yes, got him up...dam he went back down with a renewed surge...ping the line snapped...DAM IT i nearly threw the rod in disgust! he went back down. so close and there was nothing more I could do. the other fish simply chomped it off (flatty?). anyways 11 bream is my BEST SESSION EVER.

Dave I hope you don't mind me takin all these fish from your rock, lol. this spot never ceases to amaze.

Hey good on ya 'Dan' - That's a HOT session and two over 35 is awesome!! Shame I had to work otherwise I would be down fishing with you at 'the rock'. Don't ya love those bream busters - nothing beats them on lite gear!! Way to go........
