Nice work longtail - roughly what area were you in down the coast?? Catching some nice fish and not costing the earth with fuel the way it is, is always a good thing ;)

Hi Mick , mate we were in the Broadwater within sight of the seaway ;)
forgot to mention i had a sound over the pipeline , my deckie didn't know where it was , but the area was unfishable yesterday arvo due to the amount of large boats using the seaway ::) one idiot in a big boat threw about a 3mt wake around 50mt from us :o he slowed down once we gave him a mouthfull though ;)

Good work Jason!! Also notice you packed a nice feed for in between the busy times... What is that... fried chicken..? Yum ;D Have no idea about the other fish tho...
Re the cruiser incident - saw it happen to a boat about the size of yours one day cruiser comes rocketing past this boat who was doing about 20kph - came within 10 metres of him as he was passing and the wake he left from the bow hit the 6metre cuddy side on and almost swamped it. Those guys can be irresponsible - the bigger the boat, the more the money, the less the brains of the skipper.

G'day Jason,
I was down the seaway for most of the day yesterday. We threw some lures around the tip of the North wall for a small mack tuna and bonito. Went further up the broadwater and tagged three small flathead, went out to the Scottsih Prince for some livies, and came back down to the seaway to drift the hole on sunset. Mate got a tailor around 1 kg on a yakka. We finished up soaking our last few livies on the Northern side of Wavebreak Is.
You must have seen me. A yellow 15' centre console with 2 POB. I don't know what your rig looks like and didn't notice any ausfish stickers. Pity we didn't get to say hello!
