Grinner Soup at Mud

Fished the NW of Mud this morning, but couldnt get a bait past the grinner population - and they were big! Caught one around 70cm. We were in the droppoffs around the 5 - 6 metre mark, but didn't get a touch from anything decent - grinners and a few sweeties from the nursery. Maybe give it a go tommorrow night!

ps are grinner fillets a good snapper bait, or just average? In other words, should I bother keeping a few?

yeah at certian times of the year they are excellent!, however for those in the know, there are better bait fish down on the the bottom at the moment ;)
