Hi there guys,
Just thought i'd send in a report from our fishing trip tonight. Just finished cleaning and gutting all 7 of our awesome snapper! Pulled in my personal best at 60cm and my husband's came in at 61.5cm.
Fantastic night, 4 came in at over 55cm and the other 3 were around the 38cm mark.
Conditions were awesome, flat as a tack, and we had some friendly dolphins hanging around us for an hour or so which was beautiful!
Forecast looks good for the long weekend, so hope to get out again!
Tight Lines Guys!

Hey Mr and Mrs Woppa, I didn’t know you were on this site. ;) I was going to tell you about it! Nice work with the fish. Mr woppa must be very pleased. :D :D We should go out together some time. I am getting the new outboard on our boat next week, so I will be all set. I have been itching to get out there to try for a few snapper. Love your work! Slime.

Hey guys,
Thanks for your replies! Good to see ya on here Slime! Will definitely have to catch up for a fish!!
All fish were caught on bait and ended up with a few other fish 2 tailor and about 10 big bream but we threw them all back as we were just after the snapper.
We only took enough for a couple of good meals and a bbq!
Hope to head out again this weekend!

You'd have to be happy with 4 fish over 55cm from Wello! That is a great effort indeed!!
There are certainly a few there at the moment!
Take Care T

Hi folks "Mr Woppa" here.
Just thought I might have a word now the missus aint around.
Firstly yes we were very successful by our standards & thankyou for all the positive comments.
Sadly what my beautiful wife neglected to share about our successful trip was the wonderful way I cleaned the boat in the middle of the night armed with only a few buckets of cold soapy water (due to water restrictions).
Do any of you even begin to realise how cold that can be?
Man o Man it was FREEZING & let me tell you it took the smile off my face pretty quickly.
Mrs Woppa & I went out again Sunday night. VERY slow this time.
However I did experience a bit of success with my very first cast of a soft plastic aimed in anger at a snapper/squire.
1st cast, didn't even crank the reel or flick the rod tip and BANG/ZZZZZZ!!!!! 42cm of cranky squire that tested my gear to the limit. How easy's this I said?
Then, NOTHING. For 3 hours - NOTHING. The odd tailor showed up to keep Mrs Woppa interested then we decided to pull the pin.
Guess what I got to do when I got home?
Wash the Blo*^%dy Boat!!!!
BRING ON SUMMER & SOME RAIN!!!
