Recently took my fishing partner (14yr old son) out for a crack at the Bream here at Ross River Rock Wall. 2 1/2 hours of fishing and we hauled in 17 keepers all well above the minimum legal length. fished using peeled prawn baits, drifting the into the rocks and hanging on , with quick retrievals. Ended up taking home 10 fish and releasing the other 7 back for someone else to catch.

Young fella out fished my 10 to 7, guess I'm teaching him something right??

I think that any parent who takes the time to spend time with there children is teaching then something right, like you we spent a lot of time with our girls out on the water and on Fraser Is and they always thank us for there wonderfull childhood. They are in there 30s now and are both members of Ausfish. I just love it when they have been out fishing and I get a ring to come over and have a look at there catch, and what the grandchildren have caught. I bet there would be a lot of other 14 year olds who would love to spend time with there dads. That is a great catch of bream and congratulations to the young fella. ;) ;) Bob.

Was a good haul had loads of fun, the only shocker for the day was I lost a 35cm+ Bream right next to the boat. Guess he didn't like my good looks (TIC)
