this thing smacked the plastic really hard and went like buggery.. ;D ;D.

cracked up when we saw what it was..

anyone else caught one ???????

have done the same myself but also thought it was a one off jag. have also caught them on small 5g slugs while chasing tailor, they go pretty well on light gear.

I nailed a Luderick last week a SP's pretty much the same way. Went like a shot cat too! :o ;D

unreal mate, i've fluked one on a hook but not with plastics and mate i was surprised ,they certainly go hard ;D

yeah ..it bit the lure...no lucky jag.....didnt get hooked in the mouth though..
under the gill covers....

got one on a surface lure one night,trying for jacks up against pylons , trebble fully in mouth.

Done it once on a 2 inch powerhawg. Thought it was bream biting and got a big surprise when it took off like a rocket.

Mine was definetly not a jag. The mullet must of thought the powerhawg was some kind of little yabby.

i too have lucked one on a gulp, it would be great to consistantly catch them, the go hard. would be great sport.
