a Lone Wolf that is ;)
take note how he carefully checks that an anchor rope is set.
I never knew that wolves could swim ::)
and fair distances too ..... apparently ::) ::) ::)

its 30-40 knots of due southerly that has even the penguins flying backwards, overnight the sky is dropping 6 months worth of rain it has been saving up, half a metre of swell is running up the goldcoast channel and the lone wolf takes his family camping.....

Lol, I saw the title of the post and thought it was another "croc on fraser" story. Sucked me in.

Looks like you had the place to yourself at least, plenty of space, peace and quiet.

the wolf is still over there with his family - we just visited for a picnic - and a saltwater shower getting there - its not the worst i've seen at the pin but christ it was choppy
but beautiful in the lee of the island - absolute magic.
We walked to the surf for a look and dropped a handful of sand - it didn't find the ground the wind was howling so hard on that side.

does he owe you money John ? ;D
that's what we call the northern bedrooms - usually we walk thru it on the way to our favorite surf haunt. Check out the gutter opposite in this image.
there's no facilities other than bins but the toilet and shower block of the bedroom (south) is about a km walk away.
