Two weeks ago I caught some nice GT's in the Tweed but unfortunatly none of the pics turned out on my mates camera. Last night I decided to try for some more and this time brought my own camera along.
The tide was running out very slowly but there seemed to be some good surface action. We caught a couple of nice flatties before I was slammed close to the pylon and my drag was whizzin. The fish went for a few nice runs and bursts before I could get a good look at it. A nice GT surfaced and we beached him for a few pics.
My mate left after another hour and I fished solo catching a few undersize flatties untill I hooked a nice black bream which tried to wrap me round a pylon. At first I thought it was a jack and I was surprised when I got him into the light.
I went back today with half hour to kill and hooked up first cast to another gt. He fought well for his size so though he deserved a pic too.
Pete.
