Fished Pumistone this morning with Joel (Imnotoriginal). #Started at a nice early 0500 to get the top of the tide and fish through the run out. #Fishing was again very slow though what we lacked in quantity we made up for in quality. #Only about 7 or 8 fish caught - but Joel released a beaut lizard in the mid 70's and one in the mid 50's. #We kept a fish each in the 50 odd cm mark for dinner tonight. #Great day on the water. #We even saw Westie Caloundra on his jet ski but by the time we realised it was him he was off and gone.

Pics of Joel and a couple of his fish.

Wow, you got that post up quickly! Cheers again for a great day on the water Pete. I really appreciate getting the chance to cover all that water. It was a good way to finish with that last flathead. For those interested, the lures we got the fish on were a 5 inch gulp jerk shad in nuclear chicken, a 4 inch powerbait in dark blue and a squidgy shad in red rum.

We kept saying to each other 'Gee that looks like Steve - then saw the Ausfish sticker just as you took off. Joel yelled a bit but you had the wind in your ears ;D ;D.
