In the last week there have been an increase of fork tailed catfish in the river. We found alot around Broadwater, though alot less down at Wardell. Here we would have been getting one catty for every other fish landed (most undersize).
Not sure if it has to do with the recent rains, if so it can only get worse the more it wants to rain. we found a spot to avoid these and only go for bream but hubby like to drift for Flathead and whiting but had no luck with the catties around.
