logan river

Hello All,

Went for a fish today with my family, we thought we try somewhere local and went down to logan river.

Fished the last of the incoming tide and the start of the outgoing tide, with sp's for me and bait for my wife and child. After heaps of casts on sp's went to the baits, I know, I know but they were not on today!!! :(.

Finally my little abu garcia starts to scream on a pillie and presto i am on!!! :D had a very small battle with?? Yes a CATFISH >:( bummer i was hoping a big bream!!! Anyway stayed there for a couple of hours enjoyed the relaxtion and got nothing else, had a few big hits but spat the hooks.

All i can say it was a great day to spend with the family fishing.

Thats it mate there is no real fish in the logan .Stay away its not worth it ;)

Good one Heath.Sometimes a day out fishing with the family is better than fishing on your own,even if all you catch is catfish.I know with my kids it doesn't matter what's caught,so long as something is caught. :)
