It was just one of those mornings where everything went to plan. Joshy and I left the Goldy early this morning for spot X on the North Coast of NSW. We were treated to perfect conditions for once, with just enough white water around and almost no wind.
Joshy was the first to hookup with a Big Eye Trev falling to a 20g Metal with his second cast. Then all hell broke loose, every cast of the Popper for the next 45 minutes until the sun poked its head up was smashed with the Tailor in a frenzy. I landed 65cm, 68cm (2.6kgs) and a beast that went 4 kgs and 78cm. In between all this mayhem saw us lose 2 bigger models which we got a look at before stitching us up with ease, stealing my Roosta popper and a Joshs metal.
First solid Tailor was on a Roosta popper before it was stolen with the other Tailor falling to the Storm Bug Chug. We ended up with 10 Tailor and the solitary G.T as well as hooking up to many more and loosing them at out feet. Kept a couple for dinner released the others. Bloody great morning to be fishin! Off the rocks by 6am.
Cheers Matt

Hey Geoff,
A bit undergunned, only using 14lb fireline and 2metres of 40lb trace. Lost a big pup when the fireline popped under the trace when he decided to get going...
Cheers Matt
